It's been cloudy and drizzly all day, so we went to the National Aquarium here and have since been hanging out in our room and reading. I'll go walk the beach a bit despite the weather, too.

Got the other two rolls of film developed today, and got a few reasonable shots out of them. The ones from the bird sanctuary aren't much, but that was a bit tough to shoot. The Pinnacles came out pretty nicely. The best thing we saw at the aquarium was actually a bird -- kiwis! They're a lot larger than I'd thought, and very odd. I didn't have my camera, but that didn't matter a lot given the low light, glass, and the fact that to really appreciate how odd and extra-dimensional they are, you need to see them move. No wings. I don't think. Maybe human tail-bone style once, but nothing for balance. As my father put it, they're like little furry people without arms. Very neat, but still very strange!
