Got up and went to Ashburton and found the Ashford store where we were to get a bobbin for Aunt Susie, and found we didn't have all the info we needed. After placing a call from a nearby gas station, picked up the bobbins and a couple other things. Then, we made for Mt. Sunday! Mt. Sunday was home of the Edoras set. Talk about in the middle of nowhere! Actual, it's on the way to Erehwon. No joke, look it up! So, after another hour drive then another hour on gravel, we arrived! You can get very close (the mountain is on private property), and ran into other sight seers. Got out of the car the first time you can see it around a bend, two others pulled over, one guy turned and saw me and said "yep, that's it!" Got really close, snapped some photos, and left. Beautiful spot. Fantastic. Left for Dunedin, planning to see penguins. Cloudy and rainy, but it was half-clear for Mt. Sunday, which was lucky!

Nearing Mount Sunday (Edoras) (can you see it?)

I am now a subscriber to a NZ ISP (iHug), and called a parking lot a "car park" the other day. Guess I'm adjusting....
