| So who is Bill Jerome anyway? |
Depends on who you ask. My father claims to be, and so does his father. There were 6 generations before that too. We're all right, I just got this domain first :-)
| Just by looking at the bar on the left, you can get a good idea of who I am. Browsing the website will of course help make more sense of things, but this page gives you a broad overview of who I am. As I type this I'm about a month away from graduating Carnegie Mellon University as a Computer Science major with a minor in mathematics. As I don't expect to alter this page very much, if you're reading this after May 2000, I'm already done! | ![]() |
![]() | In the world of employment, my first (future) place of full time employment is at a startup called Carnegie Technology Education. So in a manner of speaking, I am staying at CMU. At least, I will be a resident of Pittsburgh, PA for a little while. I'm doing part time work there over the semester at this time, and am really enjoying it. I'm working for some and with some of the greatest people in computer science education I know and can think of. In my spare time (or rather, when I don't sleep), I run my own business WJJ Design which specializes in web design but also does computer consulting. In the past I've TAed for Klaus Sutner for every semester I've been at CMU except for two (including my first). I spent a number of years working for WTEN, the ABC affiliate in Albany, NY where I am from originally. |
| I enjoy computer games although Quake-style stuff has never really gotten my attention. At right, see a shot from a spy-cam I use to play what is possibly the best networked game there is, Master of Orion II. This is how I beat Greg at the game :-). Mostly I'm an RPG and adventure fan... |
